Oh my, these are really nice starts. Not a huge fat cheese steak fan of those textures or the flat molding around the doorways - I think you can afford 3 more polygons each for them to have sides ;)

That building is pretty inspiring, please make some more with it.

What's wrong with the textures, these things look pretty much the same in real life since these are photos. ;)
brian: looks shite :D I don't know how could you improve it, maybe you don't have to, why would you need complex garbage :)

And some news from me

looking cool!

you have to note that textures shouldn't be straight out of photos. There is ways you need to cheat to give the correct effect. When talking about diffuse you have to be careful with sharpness, those bricks look too boring too :)

Start playing with normal maps and speculars too.

They aren't straight out of photos, I made them tile, adjusted color etc
Might give a try to specular and normal maps

exactly. it's so small.. it serves the purpose. You can try it in top_gear atm next to the Evo, but I'm being messy and shouldn't be. The improvement, however, will be baking some normal details on it and molded letters and such, but yea.

george that is f*cking sick man, some guidelines: remember to keep some-kind of polyflow and a correct topology. there is a interesting jump from the front that has 3 loops to no loops at the door, you need to keep them the same, also there might be a damage system with vertex offset so vehicles having correct topology is important!

looking forward for it :D
