Hurricane Sandy is making its way to the New York area, and will probably bring with it disruptions to the power grid (and therefore Internet connections). Depending on the extent of the damage it may take a while for these to be fixed by the power companies, so if I disappear offline for a few days, that is probably the reason.

lol jost :P I'm good, I'm sure Spark is good as well, being I believe outside of the city. But lower Manhattan got hit really hard, not as bad at the beaches. Do a google for atlantic city damage sandy or just hurricane sandy damage, a lot got wrecked on the coast.

Yeah tbh I wouldn't have noticed there was a hurricane if noone had told me. Not much wind or rain. The flooding was significant of course but I don't live near the waterline.

We actually got evacuated being so close to the Delaware River here, but nothing in any stretch of that magnitude happened at all. A few downed trees in the park at the end of my street, that's about it. So it's ironic your area flooded so badly, and mine, in a [somewhat recently categorized] flood zone, was basically unaffected :P Glad everyone's okay, kitties included ^^
