These rules apply to the official IRC channel (#gritengine on gtanet) and these forums. Technical issues relating to the project should be discussed at either or both of these venues.

[*] There are currently 3 team leaders of equal standing: Brian, paroxum, spark
[*] There are also ops (for the irc channel) and moderators (for the forum) assigned to particular individuals.
[*] New visitors are welcome to participate in discussions.
[*] Anyone is welcome to extend or contribute to the project, but their work will not be automatically included in the official build/release unless it is consistent with the direction agreed by the team leaders.
[*] No spamming or mindless disruption.
[*] For all users in all positions, personal attacks will not be tolerated under any circumstances, whether provoked or not.
[*] Offensive jokes will be considered personal attacks in the event of a complaint from the victim.
[*] There will be no action taken against any community member due to civil or technical discussions. Alternative points of view are encouraged, and will not be censored.
[*] For those in the role of moderator/op, there will be no action against a long term member of the project (>30 days and >30 posts) without a proper discussion with all the moderators/ops and the support of a majority of the team leaders.[/list]
